Snow Goose Gallery

Quick Stop
You have to be both quick and lucky to see a snow goose at Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, as they only stay over for a short time on their way to or from their wintering grounds. The plumage of snow geese varies, these birds are both of the white phase variety, the first is an adult swimming in shallow waters and the second is a juvenile feeding nearby.
