I ran out of time and never made it to Gold Bluffs beach but did hike to Trillium Falls near 101, the early part of the trail near the meadow with the elk also had a lot of skunk cabbage. One small patch is along the trail the runs through the trees at the base of the hill east of the elk prairie - closer to the mainenance building end.
