		<description>the weather here this month has certainly reminded me why I wanted to move west in the first place. and I definitely plan to return eventually. Blech. 

I haven&#039;t seen them eating apples, but there are a couple of groundhogs living next door -- that is, under the barn that is adjacent to my porch. (or maybe just one. I&#039;m not sure.)</description>
