My name is Rick Cameron.

Boolie is an old college nickname given to me by a good friend while we were roommates during my first year of graduate school. We were watching Driving Miss Daisy and Dan Akroyd plays a character named Boolie. I mentioned how I didn’t like the name, so of course my friend got a bunch of our mutual friends to start calling me Boolie. While I wasn’t too fond of it at first, since the only people who knew the name were all good friends, it soon won me over.
